About Kunal Garje Consulting
Qualifications
Kunal has spent more than 12 years acquiring experience at the intersection of sustainability, engineering, AI, and corporate strategy. His areas are ESG advisory and consulting, ESG SaaS/Daas product commercialization, and develop AI solutions for business growth. Throughout Kunal's career, he has worked in a range of industries, including financial services, engineering, manufacturing, asset management, and corporate governance. He has held global teams, created and brought to market innovative industry-leading ESG products, and advised multinational corporations on their transitions into sustainability.
His work in sales, ESG data strategy, and regulatory compliance helped streamline the ESG reporting procedures and drive sustainability of many companies, bringing them in line with many ever-changing frameworks and regulations, including SBTi, AASB, California, GRI, CSRD, and CDP. To add to his diversified background in technology and advisory consulting, Kunal continues creating disruptive innovations in sustainability and digital transformation with his current role at Diligent.
Kunal is a chemical engineer who holds a master's degree in environmental science (climate change). He also worked with local governments on sustainability projects. In addition to his corporate leadership, he founded a nonprofit Net Impact Montreal in 2018 that focuses on advocating for climate change and sustainability by delivering impact through advocacy and strategic partnerships. He founded a tech company that is devoted to making immigrants' lives easier when transitioning to Canada using technology; Edupal Canada.
Kunal is also a guest lecturer at Uvaro, where he shares his expertise on cleantech sales, guiding professionals in navigating the intersection of sustainability and business.
